Shane Fredericks
Founder & CEO
Shane Fredericks lost a client because someone else did not deliver. A developer he had hired disappeared mid-project, the mobile app never shipped, and the client walked. That was the day Shane decided he would never depend on another person's follow-through again. He would learn to build it himself. That conviction, forged through service as a Marine Corps Reconnaissance Marine and Master Sergeant, is why Kortex Digital Labs exists.
Today Shane runs Kortex Digital Labs from San Antonio, Texas. The discipline came from the Marine Corps. The craft came from years of building, breaking, and rebuilding until the work met the standard.
Why Kortex exists
Built for the businesses the big agencies skip.
Small businesses deserve the same quality the big guys get. The barber shop, the contractor, the family restaurant. Most of them are quoted agency prices for template work, or template prices for work that never ships. Neither is acceptable.
Kortex publishes real prices, answers plain questions with plain answers, and ships work that is verified before it is delivered. The name comes from cortex: every project starts the way yours did, as a thought, and gets engineered until it earns its keep.
If you want to see the work first, plan a project with us. Qualified projects get a private design board with real concepts for your business to react to before you commit, so the first thing you judge is the work itself.

If something is out of scope, we say so before we start. If a cheaper option fits your business better, we tell you. No padding, no surprise line items.
Fair prices
Real prices are published on this site. What you see is what you pay, and the quote you approve is the bill you get.
